winnie, jeff yelled at me, for an hour, that he was going to go to dads place and search for dads final will and testament to destroy it.
he screamed that at me. for an hour straight.
on trafalgar street.
towards thamesford.
then, right after that, he goes and visits dad practically every day. for a year straight.
until dad gets major dizzy spells. ends up in the hospital with internal bleeding. and then dies.
before that, jeff doesnt visit dad for 45 years straight.
and insults dad verbally every chance he gets.
everything i just said is factual.

well, folks, reading this website,i feel its now time for another story about my dad.
ReplyDeletethis one is when me and jeff and winnie were still tykes.
jeff was 8,,, i was 3,,, and winnie 10.
dad drove us to detroit.
in one of the mini miner cars he raised us in.
yes. we drove all the way to detroit michigan.
then, once in the city, dad got us lost. apparently in a bad part of detroit.
too.
so he cruised for a while. looking for signs.
but nothing seemed to help.
then,
while driving around my dad spotted some fairly big black gentlemen, around 6 feet ten, i would say- just standing around doing nothing but looking like dangerous thugs..
so ,my dad says, ''aw, theirs some nice looking locals.
they just might be able to help us get along our merry way and out of this mess.'''.
so my dad quickly fearlessly drives over to them.
meanwhile, we kids are screaming, 'no dad! please? they might kill us! no! dad?no??''
but my dad all along is telling us, 'awjust relax kids.
we need directions. and they can probably help.
we get there to where their standing and my dad says, ''hey bud whats goin on?
'huh?' says the bigger black guy.
i says, young man, i need directions outta town.' i'm in a hurry, young man. can you help?
''you best leave us alone, man,' the black guy says.
were from the bad part of town.''
''ooo that never bothered me.''
if someones from the bad part of town, my dad said.
were from london ontario, and we too live in, you might say, the bad part of town.
my dad says.
huh? says the black guy.
at this point my sister starting o whimper.
and says,
'dad, i have to go to the washroom!'
so, my dad says to the two black men,,, '''well, my fine feathered fellas, it was nice to meet you. yes. nice to meet some die hard, detroiters. i'd stay longer and talk.
but my daughter seems to be having a fit. so, i have to go. ''you'll have to excuse me.''
and with that, with roaring engine my dad, with 3 kids and his wife in that mini miner car- drove out of a lions den.
shall i say.
and took us to a nearby restaurant. to let my sister use the washorrom.
then he bought us food.
and checked a map.
looking at the map of detroit, my dad eventually
figured out how to get us out of detroit. and on our way back to london ontario.
and far away from those two big black men.
fearless, was my dad. for some reason.
stronger and faster then people thought he was too.
which reminds me of a few other true stories which occurred between my brother and my dad shortly after that time.
but those are stories for another day.
